VIP Home Delivery FAQ
IN A NUTSHELL: We are basically a customizable CSA, where there are no depots to pick up at - we deliver direct to your door! We sell bins of all our own, seasonal certified organic produce! We send weekly newsletters with the option to add to your bin - and as of 2024 we now have our own on farm commercial kitchen, where we make perogies, sourdough breads, pies, sauerkraut, raw juices and more! We offer 4 week subscriptions during our growing season. You can skip a week, do every other week, 'pause' bins if you go away on holidays. This works great for families that enjoy supporting more than one farm or like to come to the farmers markets as well. Our harvest bins are filled with thee most fresh, premium quality certified organic veggies! Jessie's job is quality control and she oversees all the bin packing for every single bin that leaves the farm!
Our delivery routes cover most of downtown Toronto. (See Map below). The communities in Toronto built Sosnicki Organics! One family at a time over the course of 20 years shopping at our 3 weekly farmers markets! We worked hard for these past 20 years building relationships with the communities, organizers and most importantly our customers in the city of Toronto! Also if you are in Brant county, Ancaster, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga or Etobicoke and close off of Highway 403/QEW - we may be able to deliver to you as well! We are always tweaking the routes, so don't hesitate to ask if we can deliver to you!  Contact logistics at info@sosnickiorganics.com with questions not answered in our FAQ below.
OUR TEAM: We're not automated, we're 100% hands on. There's a small and mighty team that makes our home delivery program possible. FARMERS BEN AND JESSIE grow your organic food. We harvest the veggies fresh for the boxes the morning before your delivery is scheduled. The boxes are packed that afternoon and are ready for farmer Ben to leave the farm at 4am the next morning to start deliveries! We're lucky to have an awesome 5-person Mexican team helping us in the fields through the season - thanks guys! EMMALEA is our super friendly logistics lady. She processes every order from each of our 200 VIPs, formats delivery slips weekly and oversees the info@sosnickiorganics.com inbox. Emmalea is your gal for questions/support and is always happy to help. Keep in mind she's only part-time, so last-minute requests are hard to accommodate.
OUR ON-FARM COMMERCIAL KITCHEN is a huge milestone for us! For over 20 years JESSIE has been making prepared foods with only organic ingredients, and this on farm kitchen is the culmination of years of hard work and dreams to expand our capacity. We use only organic ingredients in everything we prepare. In addition to Jessie's famous staples like perogies, vegan cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, fresh sourdough breads and bagels, chicken pot pies, and raw juices; sourdough pizzas, salads and preserves will be coming soon as well! These foods provide quick nourishing meals to compliment our veggie bins!

- You subscribe for 4 weeks.
- You spend $58 per box, which includes delivery. In each box, you get approximately 9 items that are freshly harvested from our fields.
- Every Wednesday morning Jessie will send an e-newsletter with updates about the farm, a list of what will be in the following week's box, and open up the shop link where you can purchase extra items to add to your box if you'd like.
- We’ll bring your box on the day we deliver to your neighbourhood. In 2026, our delivery days will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some Monday and Wednesday deliveries for local customers.
- The contents of the box are the best we have to offer fresh from the fields that week! However, you can let us know if there's an item(s) you never want to receive AND you have the option to add more items to your box every week on our online shop.
Possibly, If we can, we will :) We'll keep in touch with our drivers to see what's manageable for them.
You bet! If it's not already an option available when you purchase your subscription we’ll write that on your master delivery slip. Boxes are $58. What date would you like your first delivery?
Absolutely! Let us know when you’ll be away and we won’t come :)
We just ask that you give us at least 48hours notice (by emailing info@sosnickiorganics.com), and we can deliver the skipped box on another week. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice you will be charged for the box (we harvest veggies fresh for your box and cannot sell them elsewhere, so they go to waste).
The Shop will be open from Wednesdays at 6am until Fridays at noon, for orders for the follow week's delivery. Jessie will send out the weekly newsletter and have the online Shop open for business on Wednesday mornings. We are working hard to offer subscriptions for items such as bread, fresh juices etc so you can automatically have your favourite items added to each basket without having the hassle of purchasing each and every week.
Please leave it out for your next delivery. We need our empties back! We know you have way too many things to remember already, so we'll send you a reminder the evening before your next delivery.
Please note that you will be charged for empty boxes that are not returned. No sweat if you forget now and then, but if it's a regular thing or happens more than two weeks in a row, you will be charged a late fee of $3/box for every week that it's not returned.
When your subscription comes to an end, if you don't plan to renew, we'll pack your last order in a cardboard box and pick up your blue bin from the week before, so you don't have to remember to return it at a later date.
We always try our best to meet your needs and preferences. Upon subscribing you can create a list of never send items. Or simply send Emmalea a list of your never send items and we'll make sure you never receive them. If there’s a substitute you’d prefer, let us know. We’ll try our best to make sure it’s in your box. Or will we double up on another item in your box. For example, you could get two heads of bok choy instead of one or an extra bunch of carrots. Psst try our kale chips - they might change your mind about kale ;)
Some items are more expensive than others, such as asparagus and strawberries. You're welcome to request specific substitutes as well, and we will include them if they are available.
If boxes haven’t yet been packed
Sure thing! Let me know how many you want and I’ll add them to your packing slip. You can etrans Jessie jb@sosnickiorganics.com. Just remember we're a small family farm and are always busy, so please try to give us as much notice as possible so we can make it work!
If box is already on the truck
Oh shoot, your box is already on the way. We can make sure you get them next week. Tell me how many you’d like and I’ll put them on your packing slip for next week.
There will be variability from time to time due to weather and lower than expected quantity/quality. We will sub items that aren’t available -- you will always receive 8 to 9 premium veggies in your market box! Our portions are not small! We try to post about last minute subs on our Facebook group and Instagram, and if there's time we'll let you know in the Bin Reminder email we send out the night before your delivery.
Unfortunately refunds and redeliveries are not available for undelivered boxes. We just don't have the resources to try to deliver another day, and as the produce is harvested just for you, it goes to waste when we can't deliver.
Please have a delivery plan in place so our driver can drop off your weekly box quickly. If you're in a building where you need to buzz our driver in, having a back up plan (i.e. maybe there's a lobby or mail room they can leave your box, or a concierge who will accept it on your behalf) goes a long way to reducing the risk of our driver being unable to deliver if you miss their call.
Unfortunately at this time basket subscriptions do not automatically renew, though we are working on getting there!
You can check the delivery slip that comes with your box, we'll have your last delivery date (and any upcoming vacation dates) listed there for your reference, and ours :)
When your last delivery is coming up, you can purchase more baskets - they should always be posted on the Shop, unless we're sold out at the moment. If you're currently receiving a delivery, be sure to reach out to Emmalea, and she can help you subscribe to the next round.
If you don't plan to renew, no problem. In that case let Emmalea know in advance and we'll pack your last order in a cardboard box and pick up your blue bin from the week before, so you don't have to remember to return it at a later date.
