These are the traditional rolls I grew up on and were at all my Ukrainian family dinners! Ben’s mom made one very similar that I got to enjoy at all the Polish gatherings as well. I don’t use the canned tomato soup my granny did, but instead our own tomato sauce with a touch of cane sugar to level out the acidity. I also don’t use white rice – we use long grain brown rice, lots of garlic and onions mixed in! And, of course, ORGANIC INGREDIENTS ONLY! Enjoy, these are very very good!
Ingredients: ALL ORGANIC: Sosnicki’s Cabbage, Sosnicki’s Roma Tomatoes, Sosnicki’s Garlic, Sosnicki’s Onions, Schibli’s Organic Beef, Lundberg Organic Long Grain Brown Rice; Maison Orphee Organic Olive Oil, Organic Cane Sugar & Unrefined Sea Salt.
1 dozen large, fully roasted. Heat and serve!
