IN A NUTSHELL: We are basically a customizable CSA, where there are no depots to pick up at – we deliver direct to your door! We sell bins of all our own, seasonal certified organic produce! We send weekly newsletters with the option to add to your bin – and as of 2024 we now have our own on farm commercial kitchen, where we make perogies, sourdough breads, pies, sauerkraut, raw juices and more! We do not require full or even half payments of the entire season! We typically offer 4 and 8 week sign ups. You can skip a week, do every other week, ‘pause’ bins if you go away on holidays. This works great for families that enjoy supporting more than one farm or like to come to the farmers markets as well. Our harvest bins are filled with thee most fresh, premium quality certified organic veggies! Jessie’s job is quality control and she oversees all the bin packing for every single bin that leaves the farm!
Our delivery routes (SEE OUR MAP) cover most of downtown Toronto. The communities in Toronto built Sosnicki Organics! One family at a time over the course of 20 years shopping at our 3 weekly farmers markets! We worked hard for these past 20 years building relationships with the communities, organizers and most importantly our customers in the city of Toronto! Also if you are in Brant county, Ancaster, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga or Etobicoke and close off of Highway 403/QEW – we may be able to deliver to you as well! SEE OUR MAP HERE! We are always tweaking the routes, so don’t hesitate to ask if we can deliver to you! Contact logistics at info@sosnickiorganics.com with questions not answered in our FAQ below.
We DO offer a local box to patrons in Norfolk County. $45 weekly and 9 items too! Please purchase on the shop! We will contact you to arrange either farm pick up or home delivery!
OUR TEAM: We’re not automated, we’re 100% hands on. There’s a small and mighty team that makes our home delivery program possible. FARMERS BEN AND JESSIE grow your organic food. We harvest the veggies fresh for the boxes the morning before your delivery is scheduled. The boxes are packed that afternoon and are ready for farmer Ben to leave the farm at 4am the next morning to start deliveries! We’re lucky to have an awesome 5-person Mexican team helping us in the fields through the season – thanks guys! EMMALEA is our super friendly logistics lady. She processes every order from each of our 150 VIPs, formats delivery slips weekly and oversees the info@sosnickiorganics.com inbox. Emmalea is your gal for questions/support and is always happy to help. Keep in mind she’s only part-time, so last-minute requests are hard to accommodate.
OUR ON FARM COMMERCIAL KITCHEN is a huge milestone for us! For over 20 years JESSIE has been making prepared foods with only organic ingredients, and this on farm kitchen is the culmination of years of hard work and dreams to expand our capacity. We use only certified organic ingredients in everything we prepares. In addition to Jessie’s famous staples like perogies, vegan cabbage rolls and sauerkraut, she’s expanded her repertoire to include delicious fresh sourdough breads, chicken pot pies, and raw juice. Bagels, sourdough pizzas, salads and preserves will be coming soon as well! All items are available for purchase and delivery through the VIP program and all are made with only certified organic ingredients. These foods provide quick nourishing meals to compliment our veggie bins!
Can you tell me how the VIP program works?
Here’s what to expect as a VIP customer:
- You sign up for 4 or 8 weeks.
- You spend $55 per box, which includes delivery. In each box, you get approximately 9 items that are freshly harvested from our fields.
- Every Thursday morning Jessie will send an e-newsletter with updates about the farm, a list of what will be in the following week’s box, and a link to the Add-On Shop – where you can purchase extra items to add to your box if you’d like.
- We’ll bring your box on the day we deliver to your neighbourhood. In 2025, our delivery days will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some Saturday deliveries for customers close to our GTA Farmers Markets. SEE OUR MAP HERE to see where you fall on our route.
- The contents of the box are the best we have to offer fresh from the fields that week! However, you can let us know if there’s an item(s) you never want to receive AND you have the option to add more items to your box every week on our online shop.
How do I sign up to become a VIP member?
If the shop is closed and we are not currently accepting new members – please email info@sosnickiorganics.com with subject line: “Interested in becoming a member!” Please include your address or closest intersection and we will get back to you if you fit on our route and if we have room! If you don’t hear back from us, try emailing again. We are farmers first, be patient! We are usually able to get everyone on during the growing season! AND DON’T FORGET to subscribe to our farm’s newsletter!! We often send out the first links to buy in our newsletters!
Can I change my delivery day?
Possibly. If we can, we will 🙂
We’ll keep in touch with our driver (team of 1!) to see what’s manageable for them.
Can I get delivery every other week?
You bet! We’ll write that on your master delivery slip. Boxes are $55. What date would you like your first delivery?
Can I skip a week or two? I go to my cottage often.
Absolutely! Let us know when you’ll be away and we won’t come 🙂
We just ask that you give us at least 48hours notice (by emailing info@sosnickiorganics.com), and we can deliver the skipped box on another week. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice you will be charged for the box (we harvest veggies fresh for your box and cannot sell them elsewhere, so they go to waste).
When can I shop online for add-ons and boxes?
The Shop will be open from Thursdays, through the weekend until Monday. Jessie will send out the weekly newsletter with a link to the Shop on Thursday mornings.
I received my order in a blue bin, what am I supposed to do with it?
Please leave it out for your next delivery. We need our empties back! We know you have way too many things to remember already, so we’ll send you a reminder the evening before your next delivery.
Please note that you will be charged for empty boxes that are not returned. No sweat if you forget now and then, but if it’s a regular thing or happens more than two weeks in a row, you will be charged a late fee of $3/box for every week that it’s not returned.
When your subscription comes to an end, if you don’t plan to renew, we’ll pack your last order in a cardboard box and pick up your blue bin from the week before, so you don’t have to remember to return it at a later date.
I never want kale. Ever. What will you send me instead?
We always try our best to meet your needs and preferences. Send Emmalea a list of your never send items and we’ll make sure you never receive them. If there’s a substitute you’d prefer, let us know. We’ll try our best to make sure it’s in your box. Or will we double up on another item in your box. For example, you could get two heads of bok choy instead of one or an extra bunch of carrots.
I asked to never receive lettuce. In your newsletter, you said there will be 3 heads of lettuce. Why did I only get 1 asparagus as a replacement?
Some items are more expensive than others, such as asparagus and strawberries. You’re welcome to request specific substitutes as well, and we will include them if they are available.
The store closed before I could buy Sun Sugars!!!! Can I still order?
If boxes haven’t yet been packed
Sure thing! Let me know how many you want and I’ll add them to your packing slip. You can etrans Jessie jb@sosnickiorganics.com. Just remember we’re a small family farm and are always busy, so please try to give us as much notice as possible so we can make it work!
If box is already on the truck
Oh shoot, your box is already on the way. We can make sure you get them next week. Tell me how many you’d like and I’ll put them on your packing slip for next week.
The contents of my box are different from the list in the newsletter?
There will be variability from time to time due to weather and lower than expected quantity/quality. We will sub items that aren’t available — you will always receive 8 to 9 premium veggies in your market box! Our portions are not small! We try to post about last minute subs on our Facebook group and Instagram, and if there’s time we’ll let you know in the Bin Reminder email we send out the night before your delivery.
I didn’t hear my phone ring and so the driver couldn’t get into my building, can he try again another time?
Unfortunately refunds and redeliveries are not available for undelivered boxes. We just don’t have the resources to try to deliver another day, and as the produce is harvested just for you, it goes to waste when we can’t deliver.
Please have a delivery plan in place so our driver can drop off your weekly box quickly. If you’re in a building where you need to buzz our driver in, having a back up plan (i.e. maybe there’s a lobby or mail room they can leave your box, or a concierge who will accept it on your behalf) goes a long way to reducing the risk of our driver being unable to deliver if you miss their call.
I only signed up for 4 deliveries, but I want to continue the service. Will my subscription automatically renew?
Subscriptions do not automatically renew, so please keep track of when yours will run out and purchase your next set of boxes before the deadline to avoid a disruption in your deliveries. If you lose track of the weeks, no problem! You can check the delivery slip that comes with your box, we’ll have your last delivery date (and any upcoming vacation dates) listed there for your reference, and ours 🙂
If you don’t plan to renew, no problem. In that case let Emmalea know in advance and we’ll pack your last order in a cardboard box and pick up your blue bin from the week before, so you don’t have to remember to return it at a later date.
